Terms of Service

1. What This Is
Pick the Grid is a free, fan-made Formula 1 prediction game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Formula 1, the FIA, or any F1 team. All F1-related names, logos, and data are the property of their respective owners.
2. Your Account
- You must sign in with a valid Discord or Google account
- One account per person — duplicate accounts may be removed
- You are responsible for your account and any activity under it
- You can delete your account at any time from your Profile page
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the service
- Attempt to manipulate scores, predictions, or leaderboards
- Use offensive or inappropriate display names
- Interfere with the service or its infrastructure
- Exploit bugs — please report them instead
4. Predictions & Scoring
Predictions must be submitted before the posted deadline (typically the start of qualifying). Late submissions are not accepted. Scoring is calculated automatically based on official F1 race results. Scores are final once calculated and are not subject to manual adjustment except in cases of data errors.
5. No Gambling
This is a free prediction game for entertainment purposes only. There are no entry fees, no real-money prizes, and no monetary transactions of any kind. This is not a gambling service.
6. Leagues
Users can create and join private leagues. League owners can manage members and customize scoring bonuses. If a league owner deletes their account, the league and all its memberships are deleted. League invite codes should only be shared with people you intend to invite.
7. Availability
This is a hobby project provided as-is with no guarantees of uptime, accuracy, or continued availability. The service may be modified, interrupted, or discontinued at any time without notice. We are not liable for any loss of data, predictions, or scores.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or disrupt the service. You may delete your own account at any time through your Profile page.
9. Privacy
Your use of this service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how it is used.
10. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
